Locate stations, book charging slots, review charging history, pay and lots more, all from the PiEV app.The vision is to be the largest EV Charging infrastructure in India and ensure EV owners will “Always be Incharge”. Over the next 10 years, 1,00,000 world class charging stations/experience centres will be built across the country and power India’s transition into the EV.
Problem Statement
To peoples concern we lack EV charging stations infrastructure in India and the charging station which are already present are difficult to find as EV’s take long time to charge. So the question arises that isn’t the feature of finding EV charging stations already present on Google Maps and the answer to it is “YES”,although Google Maps shows you where the charging station is located but does not provide neccessary information and lacks booking feature
Pain Points
Due to concept in EV’s in India being new there is a lack of infrastructure in India and the charging station which are already present are difficult to find.

Solutions
To design an app that let user search for EV charging station nearby or search by location and provide detail information about the charging station such as type of charger available, charging speed, slots available, rate per unit, photos of area etc. The app will give user direct directions to EV charging station of choice and book a slot.

This unique Dashboard for users comprises of location pinned for each EV charging stations.
Filter provides you with charger type setting so that the user can filter out the charging station according to charger type.

Select an EV charging station marker on the dashboard which will lead you to an EV station charger information and booking feature
The Popup comprises of neccessary information about the EV charging station with an option to book slot.
If you add on your vehicle in My Vehicle section it will appear on top of the popup showing its model and registration number with compatibilty for charger in green or red.
Book a slot according to your need and pay through your wallet.

Scan QR Code
Switch to Scan QR Code at the bottom bar to scan the EV charger code that you have book and start charging.
Provided with flash incase of low lighting

If the scanner is not working by any chance don’t worry you can enter the device code manually and start with your charging

Switch to User Setting at the bottom bar which provides you with options regarding EV charging History, Wallets, Bookings, My Vehicle, Delete Account and Logout

Refill your wallet using My wallet options and pay the charging bills online after charging

View charging history and stats in My Charging History to keep an update.

Switch to User Setting at the bottom bar which provides you with optionfor My Vehicle
My Vehicle provides you with option to Add New Vehicle model and registration number providing you with visual model.
After saving the vehicle appears in my vehicle section with it basic information of charging, model name and registration number.
With option to charge the vehicle from there itself and also cater the charging stats.
Charging and stats
Charging Screen shows the visual affect of vehicle being charged by EV charger.
The screen showcase the battery life for vehicle and upto what limit it should be charged.
You can set the amphere current in charger to minimize the charging time.
Stop your charging and plug the charger out once complete with charging and pay using wallet.
